About Us

AE Fit 716

Fitness Studio

Our training philosophy centers around healthy movement as one of the main components of proper self-care. We do not believe in quick fixes or short-term solutions. When you come to us, we work together to build long-term healthy habits and a solid fitness foundation that will stick with you for a lifetime.

Starting right from the beginning, you’ll master essential movements and learn the basic, guiding principles behind them. Using multiple modalities, we’ll help you achieve your goals through fun and creative workouts that always err on the side of safety and injury prevention. We aim to create a comfortable yet competitive workout environment that will respect your personal limits while still encouraging you to challenge yourself.

Our brand new 1100 sq ft studio is located in a beautifully remodeled historic building on Amherst Street in the Black Rock neighborhood of Buffalo, NY. In our unique space, you will find inclusivity, acceptance, connection, and a place where all are welcome. Everything we do here together is crafted to promote empowerment and self-efficacy, improve your confidence, and help you achieve your goals both in and out of the gym.

We’re about camaraderie, community, and — most importantly — the empowerment of our members!

April Ersing

Owner and Certified Personal Trainer

April’s personal fitness journey began more than a decade ago, when she was almost instantly consumed with a passion for exercise. That devotion and dedication to training helped push her to the competition level. After accomplishing her competition goals, April knew she wanted the next step in her fitness journey to involve sharing her love of exercise with others.

While working towards a bachelor’s degree in health and wellness with a minor in exercise science from Buffalo State College, April earned her personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and began working as a certified personal trainer. Since then, she has worked with clients independently and as part of the training teams at multiple gyms around Western New York.

Upon graduating from Buffalo State, April took off at full speed to reach her next goal: opening her own fitness studio. April’s intention has always been to share her love and knowledge of fitness with others, and help them incorporate healthier habits into a life-changing, daily routine. That desire, combined with more than 10 years of continued education and hands-on experience led to the creation of AE FIT 716.

Sheana Rudolph

Certified Personal Trainer

Sheana's passion for fitness began about 7 years ago with a desire to focus on herself and improve her overall health. Like many people when they’re first starting their fitness journey, Sheana felt that she would benefit from outside help to sustain her motivation, develop discipline, and build self-confidence in the gym. While working with her personal trainer to gain new knowledge of fitness and health in general, Sheana also learned to love herself in a way she had never experienced before. Now, living a healthy lifestyle is something that she cherishes, and as a personal trainer, Sheana aims to help others overcome their own obstacles and succeed at maintaining a healthier lifestyle as well.

While working as an LPN, Sheana pursued both Personal Training and Group Training certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Over the last few years, she has since worked in several fitness facilities across the Western New York area. Sheana’s goal is to help others conquer their own challenges on the road to becoming better versions of themselves and learn to love this process as much as she has.
